The Tonello brand was born in 2001: an idea and a project created by the Tonello family that – with 50 years of experience in the men’s tailoring sector – has been able to give shape to a line of men’s and women’s outerwear, made exclusive by the unique style and accuracy of details.

FAMILY AND TAILORING BACKGROUND

Tonello garments, unique and always recognizable, have a soul: their wise contents and modern shapes have been made by two generations within the family business. The idea behind the Tonello style concept was from the very beginning to reinvent the jacket by enhancing its elegance and modernising its shapes, an approach considered in many ways revolutionary in men’s tailoring.

SLIM REVOLUTION

Tonello’s innovation was to make jackets with an extreme Drop 9 giving life to the era of slim fit. At the base of this challenge there was the great knowledge of the construction of the outerwear and its realization, as well as the conviction of being able to create a unique and innovative, recognizable and iconic garment that could last over time.

HANDMADE PHILOSOPHY

Goals achieved through the handmade philosophy – artful craftsmanship – that accompanies the entire process of creation of Tonello garments. Each step gives life to materials, shapes and constructions and contributes to the creation of garments that live in those who choose to wear them.

THE “NEW CLASSIC”

Since its foundation, aware of the value of its background, Tonello has been able to maintain the original spirit of an artisan reality and project it into an industrial context. “The new classic” is the term used to define the Tonello product, testifying to the modernity of the company’s style. Everything is completed by a production structure 100% MADE IN ITALY.

Tradition and innovation coexist in the same family and company. Renzo and Claudio Tonello – father and son – dedicated themselves to entrepreneurship, following Renzo’s passion for men’s tailoring, which was then transferred to his son, who introduced the Tonello brand with the revolutionary slim jacket and brought contemporary tailoring to Tonello.
